Weighing of heavy loads on 3 supports

  • In order to weigh the load accurately, it is necessary to first determine a weighing area with solid foundations and a leveled floor
  • Selection of the 3 weighing kits based on dynamic shocks and the size of the load to be weighed
  • Available weighing kits: 75 tons (max. 100 tons) or 150 tons (max. 200 tons) to weigh up to 600 tons on 3 supports
  • Each kit is equipped with 3 SCHENCK robust torsion ring load cells, pre-calibrated under press by comparison with a reference standard load cell
  • Placement of the weighing kits under the 3 support points of the load
  • Connection of the kits to a weighing console displaying both the total load and the 3 loads at each support point
  • Multiple tests are conducted to ensure the repeatability of the taken measurements
  • Final determination of the load with an accuracy of +/- 0,1%
  • Supply of a certificate detailing the measurement methodology and the exact load
